Overview
Onboarding starts after tariffs are agreed. The merchant completes a questionnaire, then an introductory meeting is held and the integration process begins.
Google Pay activation
To enable Google Pay for a merchant:
- Merchant is registered within the Gateway
- Google Pay merchant configuration is created
- A Google Pay merchantId is assigned
- Merchant domains are verified for production use
- Gateway configuration is completed
Google Pay availability depends on successful completion of these steps.

Domain verification
For production usage, all merchant domains must be verified and registered with Google Pay.
Unverified domains will not be able to process payments in PRODUCTION.
Responsibilities
- Gateway: configures Google Pay integration and submits for review
- Merchant: integrates checkout and provides domain information
- Google: reviews and approves the integration
Production readiness
Google Pay can be enabled in PRODUCTION only after:
- Merchant onboarding is complete
- Domains are verified
- Google review (if required) is approved
